FINDING THEIR VOICE - Does your child have lots to say at home but become much quieter around other people?

At AliCaT Children and Theatre, Confidence Building gives children regular opportunities to express their ideas, speak clearly and discover that their voice matters.

Some children need time and encouragement before they feel comfortable speaking up in a group.

We help children aged 7–11 to:

Share ideas without fear of being wrong
Explore different voices through characters
Speak and be listened to by others

Over the year, those little moments of speaking up begin to grow.

A child who once preferred someone else to answer may eventually stand on stage, deliver their lines clearly and know that an audience is listening.

That’s Confidence Building through theatre.

Were you involved with The Headley Players Drama Group back in the day, and do you remember their production of Equus at Headley Park Community Centre?

I’m trying to help someone locate any photographs that may still exist from the production.

Perhaps you were part of the cast or crew, came along to see the play, or have some old Headley Players photographs tucked away in an album or box somewhere.
