Alongside this the setting is located with access to two parks, a lake and an open field just a short walk away. Little Explorers also go on outings in the car occasionally, relating these outings to the interests of the children. Little Explorer’s provides a free play environment with activities set out as an invitation to play daily. We focus on the ‘In the moment planning’ structure and basing play around the interests of the child is paramount. Children are all provided with their own learning scrapbook which will feature regular pictures and observations of their time at the setting. Along with this, children will also have their own personal development tracker to support their play and learning. Furthermore, children have access to a healthy balanced menu including snack and meal times; Often children will help to cook and prepare their meals and have the opportunity to bake.
