GAP FILLER ACTIVITIES!

Do you have a gap in the school day that needs filling?? I have created 50 PowerPoint slides each of English, Maths and Science for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. These cover areas of the National Curriculum and the new Framework for EYFS.

Reception includes: Initial sounds, high frequency words, missing sounds, colours and sentence writing. Representing numbers, greater or less, number bonds, odd and even numbers, sharing and doubling facts. Physical development - fine motor, letter and number formation. Understanding the world - the natural world, animals, seasons and habitats.

Year 1 includes: suffixes, plurals, common exception words, punctuation, phonic sounds, days of the week and contractions. 2D and 3D shapes, number bonds, half and quarter of numbers, months of the year, 100 square, one more and one less, counting in 2's, 5's and 10's. Animal groups, names and descriptions, names and parts of plants and trees - deciduous and evergreen, name, describe and group materials and objects, material classrooms hunt, parts of the human body, senses and seasons.

Year 2 includes: homophones, common exception words, contractions, nouns, verbs, adjectives, suffixes, types of sentences. Count in steps of 2, 5 and 10, place value, addition, subtraction, missing numbers and adding 3 numbers. Everyday materials, habitats including micro-habitats, living and non-living, what animals including humans need to survive, plants and offspring.

MORNING WORK FOR RECEPTION, YEAR 1 AND YEAR 2! ❤

I have created 100 days of Morning Work for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2! These activities cover areas of the National Curriculum.

Reception includes: Phonic sounds, writing sentences, high frequency words, missing numbers, shapes, one more than a given number, spelling CVC words, repeating patterns, addition, colour hunts and counting, letter/number formation

Year 1 includes:
Phonic sounds and words, missing numbers in numerals and words, punctuation, suffixes, addition and subtraction, days of the week, one more and one less, months of the year, multiplication/division arrays, shapes, equal/more/less than statements, time, number bonds up to 20 and fractions of shapes.

Year 2 includes:
Types of sentences, contracted firms, punctuation, missing numbers in numerals and words, homophones, addition and subtraction, < > = to compare, shapes, verbs, adjectives, nouns, counting in 2, 3, 5 and 10, fractions of shapes and numbers, time, subordination, coordination, money, odd and even numbers, past and present tense, place value, division and suffixes.

The formats are PDF or SMART Notebook (unfortunately it will not let me export the file into any other format).

I've also completed Autumn, Spring and Summer work for Year 3 and Year 4.

NEW MORNING WORK FOR SUMMER TERM YEAR 3 AND YEAR 4 🐰❤

I have now completed the 100 days of Morning Work for Year 3 and Year 4. These slides are different to my Autumn and Spring work but still covering the National Curriculum.

Year 3 - meaning of common exception words, adding punctuation to sentences including speech marks, maths word problems, number riddles, ordering 3 digit numbers, different representations, perimeter, 3 digit column addition, 3 digit column subtraction, adding money, statistics, angles, forces and magnets, plants, life cycles, rocks, light, food and nutrition.

Year 4 - meaning of common exception words, common exception words in sentences, missing punctuation in sentences, 4 digit column addition, 4 digit column subtraction, inverse operation, multiplying 2 digit and 3 digit by 1 digit, ordering 4 digit numbers, adding money bones and muscles, habitats, food chains, sound, grouping living things, digestive system in humans, human teeth, electricity and states of matter.

The formats are PDF or SMART Notebook (unfortunately it will not let me export the file into any other format).

ALSO, I have made Summer Term versions for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. 🙂

Morning Work for Spring Term Year 3 and Year 4💟

I have created 100 NEW days. They are different to my previous work. I have focused mainly on maths with Year 3 and 4 as my Autumn Term ones covered most of the English curriculum.

Year 3 includes:
Adding punctuation to sentences with speech, homophones, pronouns and nouns, possessive apostrophes, multiplication, 10/100 more or less, place value for 3 digit numbers, numbers up to 1000 in numerals and words, add and subtract 3 digit numbers, compare/order/add and subtract fractions, equivalent fractions and comparing/adding and subtracting length, mass and capacity.

Year 4 includes:
Homophones, possessive apostrophes, pronouns and nouns, equivalent fractions, multiplication, add and subtract four digit numbers, order/compare/add and subtract fractions, Roman numerals, numbers further than 1000 in numerals and words, place value for four digit numbers, 1000 more and less, rounding to the nearest 10,100,1000, money and counting backwards through zero to negative.

The formats are PDF or SMART Notebook (unfortunately it will not let me export the file into any other format).
