Eric Robertson booked himself a trial flight on his 94th birthday and even had a go taking control.

Montrose airfield has a long history but these days it’s mostly used for sports.
One weekend a year it’s open for light aircraft to fly in and enjoy.
Several of our club pilots took advantage of the opportunity to fly up there in Saturday’s lovely weather!

Two students hit milestones in progression towards their pilots license this week.
Christopher Sladdin completed his solo navigation exercise, correctly navigating to and landing at an “out” airfield.
And Andy Littlejohn conpleted his Dual Navigation exercise with his instructor on board.
Here they both are in front of Christopher’s Quantum aircraft
