Today we celebrate the joy of stories, imagination and a love of reading.

World Book Day!

This afternoon our preschool children took part in a special vote to decide what activity they would like to do. After sharing ideas and counting the votes together, baking was the clear winner!

They carefully helped measure ingredients, mix everything together and talk about the changes they could see happening.

What a wonderful opportunity to develop their team work skills, practice counting and measuring and build their confidence in following instructions.

Well done to our Shining Stars Bakers!

There was not much left of our snowman this morning so we decided to take remaining ice inside.

The children told us they were making iced tea for the staff.

They watched as the ice began to melt as they poured water over it and told us the ice was melting away and getting smaller.

This morning has been filled with lots of laughter as the children and staff worked together to make a fantastic snowman in the garden.

The children had a lovely time this morning exploring in the snow .

The snow was quite fluffy and would not stick together so the children decided to make their very own snowman on the ground.

They also had lots of fun making snow angels. 😁

We had a great time altogether today at nursery.

We made our own party hats, danced, played games and had some party food.

It was lovely to see our older children helping look after our younger children 😁

The children have had a lovely festive morning by participating in Christmas Jumper Day 😀

They got very creative with baking and decorating their own cup cakes.

The pre school children have had a great day getting involved in the annual fundraising event Children in Need.

They have got involved with a rage of activities and we have talked to the children about helping others 😁

Our babies, toddlers and pre school children have all has a fantastic time this week washing and decorating pumpkins.

The children across the nursery have all been provided with lots of sensory experiences and they have been proud to show their creations.
