We are a small, successful school within easy reach of Newark and the surrounding area. St.

Our rural Nottinghamshire setting provides a fabulous and spacious site that is the perfect place for our children to learn together and develop long lasting friendships. Matthew’s C of E Primary and Norwell C of E Primary collaborate as a part of The Kite Primary Federation. All children are taught in mixed aged classes by our teaching and support staff who work as an effective team to offer a fu

ll and varied curriculum. The children who attend our school not only have the opportunity to cover the full National Curriculum but also learn to play a musical instrument, receive specialist sports coaching and take part in a range of extra curricular activities.

Get ready for a fun-filled evening! Join us for School Bingo Night on Thursday, 16th May – a night of laughter, excitement, and prizes!

Where: Normanton-on-Trent Village Hall
Time: Doors open 4:30pm

There will be snacks, great company, and plenty of chances to shout BINGO! Bring your lucky charms and your game face – you won’t want to miss it!

A date for your diary!! The FONS will be holding the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Bake Sale on Thursday 3rd April from 3:15pm.

Collect a treasure hunt sheet from the Easter Bunny and find the clues around village to receive a prize.

We also will be having a bake sale at the Village Hall. Any cake donations are always gratefully appreciated.

SALVATION ARMY GIFT APPEAL

We will be collecting toys again this year for the Salvation Army. If you’re able to support this appeal please drop your (new, unwrapped) toys off in the box outside school. Outside school hours you can drop at 2 Pooles Yard (off Mill Lane).

MINI KITES STAY AND PLAY

Our Mini Kites stay and play sessions start again in November so make sure you pop these dates in your diary.

Our sessions are open to all families with babies or toddlers, and a great way to meet new parents. Come along for a chat and cuppa whilst your little ones play.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back existing and new families alike.

Our children had a wonderful time at the Lincolnshire Show where they took part in the Schools Challenge competition, with projects on various aspects of sustainable living including water, water and waste. A huge CONGRATULATIONS to the children who came in 4th place!!
