What a super first week back at St Patrick’s! 😁

We spent the week settling in, reconnecting with friends and getting back into the swing of things. It has been a really positive start to the new school year, and we hope it continues in the same way.

There was a great atmosphere throughout the school, with green cards, birthday celebrations and plenty of smiling faces.

We were especially delighted to welcome our wonderful new Primary 1 children, who have settled in brilliantly and fitted in right from the start.

All children enjoyed a wide range of activities this week, including creative tasks, team-building challenges, baking banana bread, quizzes and much more.

Here's to a happy, successful and positive year ahead at St Patrick's Primary School! 🙏

Does your child have a special dietary requirement? Have you notified your child’s school about it?

Special diet applications should be completed when the diet is:
◾ medically prescribed eg food allergies
◾ religious or cultural reasons
◾ vegetarian or vegan

Parents/guardians/caregivers have a crucial role in providing these details to their child’s school. All special diets must be notified to the school using our Guidance for the provision of Special Diets in schools form. This form should be submitted when your child joins a school and/or starts taking school meals, or when your child is diagnosed with a medical condition or allergy/intolerance requiring an adjustment to their diet or how the food is served.

Upon receipt of the completed form for medically required diets, your school will contact you and facilitate a meeting with you, the school and the school’s catering manager. The arrangements for provision of your child’s meals will be discussed and agreed ahead of the special diet being provided.

🌟 Congratulations Naomh Eoghan Senior Men! 🌟

The St Patrick’s PS community is absolutely delighted and incredibly proud of Naomh Eoghan’s Senior Men on their recent achievement of becoming Intermediate/Grade 2 League Champions, securing promotion to Division 1 for next year. What an outstanding accomplishment!

We are especially proud of our coach, Ryan Mayse, and three of our school dads, Kevin Gallagher, Gary Duffy and Damian Coyle, along with the many past pupils and families who have played their part in this fantastic success.

Your hard work, commitment and team spirit have been rewarded in the best possible way, and you are wonderful role models for our pupils.

Congratulations to everyone involved. We look forward to welcoming you and the cup to St Patrick’s when we return to school! 🤩🏆🖤💚
