🥋🥋 potential coach alert🥋🥋

Following on from an amazing day at the Female event, Gwen couldn't wait to show and coach what she learnt. I think she covered all the points and everyone really enjoyed learning.

Females inspiring females
Thank you Ellie Dennis she has nailed the Megan Fletcher roll. 💪

🥋Female fighters 🥋

Brilliant day today. Gwen won 3 out of 3 very tough matches. But more importantly she had a fun filled day being coached with the best of the best.

Not everyone can say that they have knee on an Olympians back while they were crawling. Well Miss Gwen can. 🤣🤣🤣

Big shout out to Ellie Dennis who organised such a brilliant event and it was very well attended. There was loads of learning and more importantly happy faces. The place was buzzing with such a great atmosphere

🥋Good Luck🥋

Good luck to Gwen today who travels to Dublin to compete in the Female only event and then will be attending a master session with two Olympians. What an opportunity.

Well done to our small team that travelled to the Foyle Arena today to compete in the mini maxi Mon and kyu competition.

First up was Jonathan who has not been with the club that long and this was his first competition. He goes home with a Bronze.

Up next was Raymond. Who has only come back to the sport from 9 years off. He also wins bronze.

The last to fight was Matthew our 8 year old who showed a lot of resilience and determination. I am so proud of this young lad .

I am proud to be in the coaches seat for these guys. There were no easy fights.

FREE TOOL KIT SPREAD THE WORD

https://neurodiversity-toolkit.open.ac.uk/

With an increase in neurodiversity diagnoses across the UK and Ireland, many parents, carers and educators are looking to understand more about how to support neurodivergent children in their care. Neurodiversity means that our brains are all different .The Open University believe that understanding and embracing these differences is the first step towards helping every child thrive. They have launched a campaign focused on providing supportive strategies, real stories and resources for parents, caregivers and those working with young children in education settings. At the heart of this campaign is their practical toolkit, developed by Open University academics, Mel Green and Dr Poppy Gibson, grounded in academic expertise and real-world experience of teaching and raising neurodivergent children.
