Today Glenbrook Nursery and Trinity Nursery School shared a PeacePlus Aspire session together at Clandeboye Estate. Together we shared in new play experiences, bonded while jumping in muddy puddles and participated in plenty of opportunities to play, share and learn together. Our staff fully embraced the experience too (see the photo below)!
Thank you to Northern Ireland Forest School Association for facilitating this session. We will be back!

Something to consider if you live local to Glenbrook. We'd love to see some photos too! Please share with your child's teacher via Seesaw.
Next week is Walk to School Week!
Itβs the perfect chance to leave the car at home and enjoy a healthier, happier journey to school. Walking even part of the way helps children feel more alert, supports physical and mental wellbeing, and creates great opportunities to chat and connect before the school day begins.

Thank you so much to Londonderry Primary School who invited us to a plant and play session today. We had a fabulous morning exploring outside, working on our gross motor skills and challenging ourselves on the climbing equipment. The highlight was going inside the polytunnel and planting lilies for us to bring home. Thank you to the P1 teachers Mrs Hutton, Mrs Bradford and all the P1 staff along with the pupil helpers who helped to make today so special. What a lovely introduction to life at Londonderry π

Today we participated in another joint PeacePlus Aspire session with Trinity Nursery School. We worked on our gross motor movements and physical health with Coach Paul from Sonal Sportz and then explored indoor and outdoor play areas together.
Thank you so much to the team at Trinity who made us so welcome and for all the hard work behind the scenes to make today a success.
A huge thanks too to the Glenbrook staff team for all their hard work! Thank you also to our parent volunteers. We really appreciate your help. The children were excellent ambassadors for Glenbrook and Trinity. Well done everyone.
