Rory McIlroy was breaking records at 16 🤯

Back in 2005, a teenage Rory delivered an unforgettable performance at Royal Portrush during the North of Ireland Championship.

⛳ Just a week after missing the Scottish Open cut, he opened with a front nine 33.

🔥 An eagle at 10 sparked a back nine charge as nearly 200 spectators followed the young Irishman.

He birdied five of his final eight holes, including a 20 foot putt on 18.

🏆 Rory finished with a bogey free 61, shooting 28 on the back nine and breaking the course record by three strokes.

At just 16 years old.
