Ganaway Activity Centre Outdoor Recreation and Training Centre Also available is a large camp site area and crazy golf.

Ganaway Training, Activity and Conference Centre is a 13 acre site located in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the quiet countryside between Millisle and Ballywalter in the Ards Peninsula of County Down overlooking the Irish Sea. Selected as one of 27 centres in Northern Ireland as a London 2012 Olympic Games Pre-Games Training Camp, the centrally heated indoor modern and well appointed ac

commodation for up to 100 people can cater for mixed gender groups with sleeping, self-catering and disabled facilities in our Millennium Centre, Birch Lodge, Oak Lodge, Ash Cottage and newly refurbished and extended Outpost. Added to these facilities, are The Beacon, a meeting/conference room capable of seating up to 130 people, a central kitchen and dining room, a sports hall (equivalent to one badminton court) and a Sports Arena (equivalent to four badminton courts) suitable for a range of indoor sports. If that is not enough, Ganaway can offer a range of Personal Development and Team Building activities including High Level Ropes Course, Low Level Ropes Course, Archery, Climbing, Abseiling (indoor and outdoor), Zip Line, Canoeing, Night Line, Team Initiatives and Orienteering. Our Vision - To provide first class facilities where young people and adults may enjoy lasting learning experience which will have a positive impact on their lives.

There is a road closure between Ganaway and Millisle. There are diversions in place but leave yourself an extra 10 minutes if you are coming from the North.
