Music Lab - Rachael Hamilton instrumental, music theory and GCSE / A-Level tuition for all ages and levels in individual and group sessions. Music theory tuition available for all levels.

Instrument tuition available for Flute, Saxophone & Piano. Focusing on LCM and ABRSM grades and ensemble skills. Focusing on ABRSM grades. Just over a month ago Music Lab once again changed location, this time to Ganaway Road in Ballywalter. We are working on a lovely new space and work started today. Phase 1: blue bond paint applied! Phase 2: getting a plasterer in!
Can't wait for the next rainy day.......builder has promised me a plasterer!

Only 2 weeks left of summer holidays then it's back to piano, flute and saxophone teaching! And I can't wait! Last year was such a successful year for my small (but growing) home studio!

I still have 2 (possibly 3 slots left) to fill at home.....

I am absolutely delighted to announce my student exam results!

Ethan - Grade 5 Classical Saxophone
Distinction

Rebekah - Grade 8 Piano
Merit

Ethan will move onto grade 7 classical saxophone in September (and will be completing grade 8 flute in November). Rebekah will be moving on to university. It will certainly make my Wednesday nights different. I have taught Rebekah for the past 7 years (since I moved to Loughries). I will miss our catch ups and advanced musical discussions! Poor Ethan might get a few more questions than usual.

Currently I'm in search of new adult students that can attend lessons during school hours!
If you know someone who always wanted to play or someone wanting to get back into playing please encourage them to get in touch! Pass on my details!
I teach flute, piano and saxophone but I'd also love to hear from adults who can proficiently play any instrument and wants to do a bit of music sharing or tidy up musicality in pieces or just discovering new repertoire. I'd maybe be open to music lesson swap if any wants to teach me something new! 🥰

LCM Grade 4 saxophone - merit (1st saxophone exam)

Very proud teacher. Both students worked fabulously throughout the year! I've enjoyed every moment with both students. Always look forward to a wednesday and Thursday evening! Looking forward to discovering new pieces in the coming term.

Finalising my September 23 timetable this evening. New students welcome. Very interested in retired or homeschool students who could during the day. Send a pm or give me a call for more information.

Happy new year to all! 2022 was a great year! 6 years in Loughries, Newtownards! Last year saw the biggest growth in the studio and I'm determined to continue to expand this year!
