Well today is the day a past pupil and former receptionist, Johanna Burgess, gets married. We have seen her grow from a young girl into a wonderful young woman and I could not be more honoured that I got to be part of watching her grow up and now today become a wife. Ryan Kerr is a very lucky man to have you and you make a wonderful couple. Everyone at Mrs Conn's Dance Academy wishes you both a lifetime of happiness # # #

As tomorrow is officially the last day of term we are having a Princess/Superhero themed Party for each class. Please feel free to come dressed as your favourite Princess or Superhero. (we have loads of spares in case you don't have one). Bouncy Castle, Face Painting and Games for all. We have begun our new chapter of our dance school, we are finally changing our name to 'ConnfiDANCE Studios'. We have been 4 1/2yrs in planning for this and now we are ready to unveil our new look. check out the new FB page for our fabulous, talented, growing school.

Tap and Modern exams will be on Sunday 2nd August 2015 times to be confirmed. Classes back on from tomorrow, however anyone showing symptoms of hand foot and mouth is advised to stay at home x

IMPORTANT NOTICE: my mum and I have just been diagnosed with hand, foot and mouth as well as another mummy in the studio, as we all got diagnosed at same time it seems clear it was caught at the studio. It is not serious, but it is contagious and I would ask everyone to be on the look out for symptoms in their child and themselves, mouth ulsers, red pin prick spots on hands and feet, cough, slight temperature. It does not require treatment as it is self limited and lasts around 5 days. The studio will be closed from today until Saturday in order to be out of the contagious zone, also to stop the spread.
