We said farewell to our wonderful P7 pupils as they came to the end of their primary school journey this week.

Over the last seven years, they have been a credit to our school community, filling our classrooms and corridors with enthusiasm, kindness, laughter and determination. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and of the young people they have become.

Although they will be greatly missed by both staff and pupils, we know they are ready for the exciting adventures and opportunities that lie ahead.

On behalf of all the staff, we would like to wish our P7s every success and happiness as they embark on this next chapter. Remember to believe in yourselves, follow your dreams and always be proud of who you are.

A huge thank you to David, who made the service extra special by piping our P7s in and out! A lovely surprise for the pupils!🎡🎼

Good luck, P7 – we will miss you all! πŸŒŸπŸŽ“β€οΈπŸ–€

P1/2 had a fantastic picnic today! β˜€οΈπŸ§Ί The children enjoyed spending time together in the sunshine and tucked into lots of delicious treats. It was wonderful to see so many happy smiles as everyone made the most of the beautiful weather. A lovely day was had by all! β€οΈπŸ–€

Our annual tradition of the epic Year 7 water fight took place today, and what a fantastic afternoon it was! πŸ’¦πŸ˜„

Great fun was had by all, although poor Mrs McCoy and Mr Roy seemed to be the main targets for P7! To be fair, they defended themselves as best they could... and Mr Roy definitely came prepared, armed with a 3-litre capacity water pistol! πŸ”«πŸ’¦

A brilliant way to round off the year, with plenty of laughter, smiles, and soaking wet students (and staff!) all round! 🌞

What a show!
The Wizard of Oz 2026 has been an absolute blast. With 106 actors on stage and the most incredible cast and crew a school could wish for, we’re so proud of everyone involved.

A magical experience we’ll never forget! β€οΈπŸ–€

As a school, we are incredibly proud of our two pupils who have earned places in the Showjumping Ireland Spring Regional Tour. πŸŽπŸ†

After competing since February, both brothers finished the final at Meadows Equestrian Centre with impressive 7th place finishes in their respective classes.

Their hard work, dedication, and consistency throughout the tour have been rewarded with qualification to represent Ulster at the All-Ireland Interprovincial Finals this September!

We couldn't be prouder of everything they have achieved so far and can't wait to see what comes next.

We are delighted with all they have achieved so far and wish them every success as they prepare for the finals.

A huge thank you to Chris for taking the time to visit our P7 class and deliver a fantastic career talk recently!

Chris, a parasitologist and lecturer at Queen's University, shared fascinating insights into his work and the world of science and medicine. Our P7 pupils were captivated by the interesting facts and real-life experiences he shared.

The children also learned about the subjects and qualifications needed to pursue careers in science and medicine, helping them to see the many exciting opportunities that could lie ahead.

Thank you again, Chris, for inspiring our pupils and encouraging them to dream big about their future careers!β€οΈπŸ–€
