The lessons that changed my life werenât learned through education
They were learned through mistakes.
Failure.
Heartbreak.
Addiction.
Depression.
Consequences.
Most people want a better life, very few are willing to take responsibility for creating one
So let me ask youâŚ
Are your current habits moving you closer to the life you want?
Or further away from it?
Because the quality of your future is hidden inside the choices youâre making today
Which lesson in this post hit you the hardest?

How many times have you promised yourself things would be different?
Next week, next month, after the holiday, when work settles down..
Yet here you are stuck in the same cycle.
How much longer are you willing to tolerate a life you know youâre capable of improving?
And what is it costing you by staying the same?
Something to think about đ§

For years I convinced myself that life would change when the timing was right.
âIâll start on Mondayâ
âIâll sort myself out after the weekendâ
âWhat harm can one more night do?â
I repeated the same bu****it to myself for weeks on end.
The weaks turned into months, months turned into years.
But why couldnât I break the cycle?
The problem wasnât that I didnât know what I needed to do
The problem was I kept waiting for perfect conditions to do it
So I kept going round in circles
Repeating the same habits and behaviours
And always paying the price of guilt, shame and regret.
I was trapped in a cycle of self-sabotage. And I know so many people who still are!
Everything changed when I stopped waiting and started taking responsibility
Not because I suddenly became motivated
Not because I finally figured it all out
But because the pain of staying the same became greater than the pain of growth
A few years later, Iâve learned that failure isnât something we should fear
Failure is part of the process.
The real danger is staying exactly where you are because youâre scared of what might happen
The perfect time isnât coming, stop waiting for it.

Thereâs a huge difference between interest and commitment.
Interest works when itâs convenient
Commitment works no matter what
Interest likes the thought of achieving the goal
Commitment falls in love with the process
Most people are interested
Very few are committed
Because commitment requires a different version of you
One that keeps promises to themselves
Chooses delayed over instant gratification
And stops listening to their feelings
Thatâs the part most people struggle with.
Because it can be extremely uncomfortable
Yet everything youâve ever wanted sits on the other side of that discomfort.

Physical pain is one of the greatest teachers youâll ever have.
Voluntary discomfort is where you discover something most people rarely learn
The body is very rarely the first thing to quit.
Every time you push through a long run, hard workout, long hike or some form of physical challenge, youâre collecting evidence
Evidence that you can handle more.
Evidence that discomfort wonât kill you.
Evidence that your limits arenât where you thought they were.
And once you learn that physically, you start applying it elsewhere đ
Business.
Relationships.
Fatherhood.
Life.
The man who can stay calm and keep moving when things get uncomfortable has an advantage most people will never understand.
Thatâs why we do hard things
Not because suffering is the goal đŻ
Because growth is đ

Every time you make an excuse, you teach yourself that fear is in charge.
âIâm not fit enoughâ
âIâm not ready for thisâ
âI might do it next timeâ
On the surface, these excuses seem harmless.
But every excuse reinforces the belief that youâre incapable
And over time, that destroys confidence.
Most people think confidence comes before action.
It doesnât..
Confidence is built by keeping promises to yourself.
By doing things that scare you.
By stepping into situations where thereâs a chance you might fail.
By proving to yourself that youâre capable of more than you thought.
Thatâs exactly why Organised Chaos exists.
Not to test your fitness, but to test your mindset.
Every man who takes part arrives with doubts
Every man leaves with evidence that heâs stronger than he believed.
The question isnât, âAm I ready to do this?â
The question is, âAm I prepared to stay the same?â
Organised Chaos 6.0 is coming âł
Will you keep making excuses?
Or will you finally find out what youâre truly capable of?

The storm said Organised Chaos was doomed âĄď¸
Turned out to be one of the best experiences of our lives!
A lesson in why you should never let circumstances decide your future.

Halfway through the year.
Most people start January motivated.
New goals đŻ
New Habits đââď¸
New promises đ¤
Then life happened.
Work got busy.
Motivation faded.
Comfort won.
Unfortunately time doesnât care about you. Time passes whether you take action or not
In another 6 months youâll either be grateful you started today or wishing you had
You donât need a new year.
You donât need a perfect plan.
You donât need more motivation.
You just need to make a decision!
A decision to stop negotiating with yourself â
A decision to become the person you said you wanted to be.
The next 6 months are coming regardlessâŚ
Stop counting the days and make the days count đď¸

Hyrox Helsinki đŤđŽ
These past few weeks Iâve let myself get carried awayâŚ
The week before this race I run 2 marathons and a total of 109km đââď¸
After hitting a 34 min PB on Sunday in Belfast Marathon, my body was fatigued going into this race đŞŤ
During the race - my watch pacer wasnât working and I couldnât time my runs correctly
My strongest station (Farmer Carryâs) I had a complete lapse of concentration and only completed one lap - resulting in a 3 min penalty
I could go on all day about what didnât go my way but it all comes down to one thingâŚ
Not listening to my body and the people closest to me
Iâve pushed myself beyond my limits and paid the price by finishing this race 9 minutes slower than I expected
Once this Viking Marathon & Quadrathon is complete, Iâll be taking a break from all races/competitions
Iâll go back to the drawing board and rebuild my body from the inside out
Iâm gonna come back faster, fitter & stronger and absolutely blow that sub 70 mark out the water đ
You either win or you learn.
Control the Chaos đŚ

Still on the fence about Organised Chaos? đŚ
You know it will benefit you but fear & doubt is holding you back?
Whenever I ask people would they like to do Organised ChaosâŚ
This is the typical response I get đ
âIt looks class, but Iâd die in the first 5 minutesâ
This couldnât be any further from the truth â
Iâve had lads weighing 120kg, have never run a day in their life and within the first 2 hrs ran 7.5km round Tullymore
Thatâs just one exampleâŚ
And whenever the event is over, you hear the usual đ
âIâm so glad I done that, I never thought I was going to be able to do that but now I know I canâ
This is what itâs all about đ
Itâs my job to help you remove the perceived limitations inside your mind that have been holding you back from reaching your full potential đď¸
Yes, your ego might take a hit. But you will gain confidence, build discipline, earn respect and learn skills that you can apply to all aspects of life
So if youâre thinking about signing up and the only thing stopping you is the thought of âIâm not fit enough to do thisâ!
Just know that youâre wrong and this is your opportunity to take your body and mind to heights that you havenât experienced yet đ
