This week we let our wonderful butterflies fly away to find their new home 🦋 this was a brilliant learning opportunity for our children talk through the life cycle of a butterfly👍😄

This week we had a visit from Ruth with the Toy Museum who spoke to the children about the history of toys, what their favourite toy from home was and brought some vintage toys in for the children to play with. The boys and girls had a great time exploring🤩👍🐝

Today we had a lovely visit from Rachel with Drama Tots Ards and North Down who brought lots of props to develop the children’s imaginations. The boys and girls all had a great time🤩👍🐝

What a busy week we’ve had in Bees Nees 🐝, we had a fun trip to Forest School🌳🔥🫧, the children enjoyed playing with their friends from St Finians Preschool and watching Mr Hullabaloo on our ASPIRE visit💃🕺 and had lots of fun moving to music with Harriet from Make a Sound🤠🐝🤩

Lots of fun exploring in Bees Nees this week the children have been really active in their play🐝🤩👍🐝

This week in Bees Nees we introduced our caterpillars🐛, the children have enjoyed learning about their life cycle and how to care for them through observing them and reading the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar🐛🦋🔍. We have also really enjoyed the warm weather this week spending lots of time playing outside 🤩👍☀️

🐝Today we had our exchange visit as part of the ASPIRE project with St Finians Preschool. The children showed great turn taking skills during play particularly when playing board games together🎲 and role playing with the food cart🌭🍨🍭. As it was such a lovely day today☀️ we enjoyed spending lots of time playing outside before finishing off the day looking at different emotions while reading The Colour Monster Goes To School.🐝

🐝This week the children took part in a music and movement session with Make a Sound where the children enjoyed activities with bean bags, rainbow sticks, aeroplanes and the parachute🤩👍🕺. There has also been a lot of fun and cooperation with our new ice cream and food cart which we purchased using some of our Easter fundraising money🍦🍨🌭🍭🐝
