A lovely morning at Copelands yesterday and was asked an interesting question that I thought I would share.
I was asked if my teaching held an eastern religious bias and I confirmed that it did not. I teach functional movement for health and welfare, rather than a traditional yoga practice that is rooted in a certain belief system.
If anyone wants that style of yoga I always direct them to a practitioner who teaches in that manner.
Both are equally relevant and acceptable but my teaching is secular. Very happy to chat about this if anyone has more questions!

I've been reading lots of research recently that clearly highlights the importance of structured exercise classes in residential and nursing homes.
Keeping both the mind and the body active, engaged and connected is so vitally important to the health of our seniors as they age.
The research below highlights exactly why I started BMoved4Life, and offer inclusive, adaptive chair based yoga and Tai Chi.
By investing in the health and welfare of your residents, you can make a real difference to their quality of life as well as the potential to reduce falls and preserve mobility.
I am so delighted that I have amazing regular clients and I would really like to add to my list so please do share and help me reach more people!
