This week, our Year 11 students gathered for an inspiring assembly focused on setting themselves up for GCSE success! 📚✨

Here are the key takeaways shared during the session:

Attendance Drives Attainment: Every day in school counts. Consistent attendance directly impacts learning and helps unlock students full potential.

Student Leadership in Action: Our newly appointed Student Leadership Prefects took to the stage to share their personal insights on the value of dedication, perseverance, and strong work ethic.

Finding the Right Balance: Hard work is crucial, but so is taking care of yourself! We highlighted the importance of balancing academics with social interaction, extracurricular clubs, and taking advantage of mentoring opportunities.

Organisation is Key: Staying organised with study schedules, deadlines, and daily routines makes all the difference in managing stress and achieving your goals.

Congratulations to Leah & Abigail, on speaking so well at the New Visions conference on Saturday at the MAC.

Both girls were absolutely fantastic and spoke so confidently and eloquently about arts education. They were a real credit to themselves and to the school.

The New Visions project at the MAC is a three-year arts education initiative supported by the Freelands Foundation
