🥁 What an excellent staff wellbeing morning! 🥁

A huge thank you to Joe Loughlin from The Gathering Drum for bringing plenty of fun, laughter and fantastic drumming to our morning! It was a brilliant way for our whole staff team to reconnect after the summer break, and we certainly had lots of fun along the way. 💛

We’re feeling refreshed, reconnected and ready to go! We can’t wait to welcome all our children back to school tomorrow. 📚✨

Stage 1 applicants will receive your notification of school places on Monday.

You can still apply for a place in Glengormley Integrated Primary School and Pre-school.

Stage 2 applications open on Monday 23rd March and close on Wednesday 1st April 2026 at 4pm.

The staff, Board of Governors and Committee of Glengormley Integrated Primary School and preschool are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of our former pupil Claudia Jaczyk. We remember her as a kind, thoughtful and hard-working pupil. Our thoughts and prayers are extended to our former staff member Marzena and also Damien and Kuba.

Update - Storm Chandra

School closure.

Glengormley IPS and Preschool will be closed tomorrow as will after-schools.

We do not take such decisions lightly and appreciate the challenges this can bring for many families.

Based on current advice we feel that opening would present an unacceptable level of risk. The safety of our pupils and staff is paramount.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Wednesday.

The admissions portal is now open and you can apply any time in the next two weeks. If you missed our Open Day and would still like to visit the P1 classes or Pre School, call the school office to make an appointment. Come and see what we do!
