Hi everyone, I have had a really peaceful break this Christmas, hopefully you have too!! My batteries are recharged and I am so ready to get back to Teaching all of my lovely students😊

For anyone new to my page let me re-introduce myself. My name is Emma Cassidy; I have been a teacher for 16 years and I have around 20 years Tutoring experience.

I have four children of my own, who have all been through the transfer test system, so I have experienced the process as a parent, teacher, and tutor!!! I am here to gently guide your child through the process teaching them the knowledge, skills, and techniques to take them through into Secondary education.

I run small group Tutoring pods called Bright Brains pod classes from the Academy hub in Mallusk. This year I have reduced my class sizes to just five students per group to ensure more focused learning.

Each weekly session focuses on either a KS2 numeracy or literacy topic. I provide weekly homework, online support, written and oral feedback, and I am always here to answer questions that any of my students or parents may have.

Coming new for 2026 are my new weekly online sessions. These sessions will be an online follow up recap session to cement the lesson from that week. My pod students will receive one of these online students free of charge weekly.
I only have a couple of spaces remaining for my 2026-2027 classes which launch this week, if you would like any more information get in touch today😊
