Well , after 30+ years in secondary eduction, and being told to "f" off by students (who still call me "sir", when I bump into them, and parents who now call me "Mr. Wardell") I've just been told to 'f' off by someone who (looks) older than me when I asked him (and who appeared to be his grand-daughter - potential abduction?) to leave my, and my neighbour's property - police not interested despite the fact that they sometimes search the area for missing persons, and that there was a su***de (we believe) in the area a few years ago. Thank goodness we have a dog who can look and sound savage!! (Albeit he's as soft as grease!).

Not having posted for a long while, I'm prompted to do so by an inspirational afternoon and evening at Gregynog with the talented (and humorous) Neil Brand. A world renown silent movie pianist, Neil was informative, entertaining, and a joy to listen to. Thoroughly enjoyable, entertaining, and educational. If Neil returns to Gregynog, I'll be there!!
