If so, the Primary School Admission Round for learners born between 01/09/2021 – 31/08/2022 opens on Wednesday 1 October 2025.

Parents/Carers need to complete an online application at https://en.powys.gov.uk/article/1158/Applying-for-a-School-Place

Applications need to be made by the deadline of Thursday 15 January 2026.

We're looking for an inspiring leader with a Level 3 (or above) qualification in childcare. Ideally, you'll already have experience in a 3+ setting and/or as a room leader.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead by example, maintaining the highest standards of care and practice, and supporting our dedicated 3+ team in delivering the best experiences and outcomes for our children.

⭐️Nursery Assistant
We are also recruiting for a caring, enthusiastic assistant with a Level 3 childcare qualification.

🌟 Exciting Improvements at Curious World🌟

While we were closed last week, lots of fantastic work has been taking place to make our nursery even better for the children!

We now have beautiful new LVT flooring throughout the Sunshine Room and Star Room, and the Sunshine Room has had brand new toilets. This work has been made possible thanks in part to Powys County Council’s Capital Small Grants Scheme, funded by the Welsh Government.

Meanwhile we’ve also had some lovely new resources in the Sunshine Room, following our successful tender to become a Flying Start setting as part of the Phase 3 Expansion in Powys.
