Our local fire station Newtown Fire Station/ Gorsaf dân Y Drenewydd are opening their doors this evening. You're welcome to go and have a look around, meet the crew, and learn more about the service.

We’re opening the doors to everyone tonight, 7pm–8pm!

We had such fun taking the Explorers to the library. They loved exploring the books and singing together. //

At the end of last month, we celebrated a very special milestone as we said goodbye to our wonderful graduates. 🎓✨

It was such a lovely morning spent celebrating with our children and their families, reflecting on the incredible journey they have shared with us. From their very first days to the confident, kind and curious little learners they have become, it has been a privilege to watch each and every one of them grow.

We are so proud of all they have achieved and know they are ready for their next big adventure at school. Thank you to all of our families for joining us to celebrate this special occasion and for trusting us to be part of your child's early years journey.

We wish all of our graduates every happiness and success in the future! 💙🎓

Roedd yn fore mor hyfryd a dreuliwyd yn dathlu gyda'n plant a'u teuluoedd, gan fyfyrio ar y daith anhygoel maen nhw wedi'i rhannu gyda ni. O'u dyddiau cyntaf iawn i'r dysgwyr bach hyderus, caredig a chwilfrydig maen nhw wedi dod, mae wedi bod yn fraint gwylio pob un ohonyn nhw'n tyfu.

Rydym mor falch o bopeth maen nhw wedi'i gyflawni ac yn gwybod eu bod nhw'n barod ar gyfer eu hantur fawr nesaf yn yr ysgol. Diolch i'n holl deuluoedd am ymuno â ni i ddathlu'r achlysur arbennig hwn ac am ymddiried ynom ni i fod yn rhan o daith blynyddoedd cynnar eich plentyn.

What a wonderful day we've had. The children who are leaving us for school this year took a trip out to the cinema this morning. They had the screen to themselves and enjoyed spending special time together before they leave us and each other for school. 🍿🎬🎥
Am ddiwrnod hyfryd rydyn ni wedi'i gael. Aeth y plant sy'n ein gadael ni am yr ysgol eleni allan i'r sinema y bore yma. Roedd ganddyn nhw'r sgrin iddyn nhw eu hunain ac fe wnaethon nhw fwynhau treulio amser arbennig gyda'i gilydd cyn iddyn nhw ein gadael ni a'i gilydd am yr ysgol. 🎥🍿🎬

☀️ Garden Adventures & Imaginative Play 🌿

There's nothing quite like learning through play in the sunshine! Our outdoor garden space provides endless opportunities for children to explore, imagine and create. Whether they're cooking up a delicious barbecue, serving breakfast in the outdoor café, or enjoying imaginative role play with friends, every moment helps to develop communication, creativity and confidence.

Outdoor role play encourages children to work together, take turns, solve problems and express themselves while strengthening their language and social skills. Best of all, they're making wonderful memories whilst enjoying the fresh air and summer sunshine! 🌼💛

Does dim byd gwell na dysgu drwy chwarae yn yr heulwen! Mae ein gardd awyr agored yn cynnig cyfleoedd diddiwedd i blant archwilio, dychmygu a chreu. Boed yn coginio barbeciw blasus, yn gweini brecwast yn ein caffi awyr agored, neu'n mwynhau chwarae rôl gyda'u ffrindiau, mae pob eiliad yn helpu i ddatblygu eu cyfathrebu, eu creadigrwydd a'u hyder.

One of our little learners took the lead and became the storyteller! Child-led experiences like these help to build confidence, develop communication skills, and inspire a love of books. Sharing stories outdoors creates a calm, engaging environment where imaginations can flourish and everyone has the chance to learn from one another. 💛

Tomorrow is the day we take time to celebrate all those children preparing themselves for big school. We look forward to welcoming them and their families for our graduation party, and looking back and their time with us here at Hope Day Nursery. It is such a blessing to be a small part of each of their journeys, and a privilege to have watched them each flourish and grow.
