nal staff team, you can be confident that your child is being looked after the way you would look after them. Our rooms are age specific, with quality activities and furnishings. From natural wood furniture to home cooked meals, every part of Little Cubs is aimed at delivering excellent care. This is most clear in our staffing; all our team hold current childcare qualifications and are constantly trained and developed in all areas. We highly value clear communication and are passionate about making sure that parents are kept fully informed about all aspects of their child's care. The link between home and nursery is a key connection and we actively seek ways to continually ensure this is demonstrated in our nursery. Applications for Reception places 2027 are now open. You have until Friday 15th January to submit your choices. Please see attached image of the timeline of this process. Glow nursery has had a refresh. The same Nursery, the same high quality staff team with some new and exciting elements to our branding being introduced.

Our staff have been working throughout the holidays to create warm, stimulating environments with the opportunity to learn in abundance. With special thanks to Hudson & Sons Windows Ltd creating some outstanding built for purpose furniture pieces for us.

Alongside our rooms having a makeover, you will notice we are currently in the process of changing a few things. Over the coming weeks, you will see some changes with the most obvious being our name change which we are so excited to welcome as our Nursery grows and thrives.

We can’t wait to welcome all of our lovely families, both new and returning, as we begin a brand-new term on Tuesday 1st September! ✨

We would like to celebrate Helen on her retirement today. Thankyou for all you have done for so many. You will leave a big hole in our Little Cubs family but we hope you relax and enjoy your retirement. As a team we have so much love for such a special person.

Hello my name is Joanne. I have worked at Little Cubs for 5 years. My role is to provide lunch cover in the Preschool unit. I love to see our children developed skills,grow in confidence and reach their full potential before they start their school journey. I like to play and give lots of cuddles. Coming to work is a pleasure because the love and joy I receive from the children is priceless.

Hi, my name is Beth, and I’ve been part of the Little Cubs team for just under nine months. I work in the Discoverers room with our Babies, I absolutely love coming to work every day and seeing their gorgeous smiles. I’m currently halfway through studying for a Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies, and I’m really looking forward to completing it next year and putting everything I’ve learned into practice. I’m passionate about supporting the children with their development and helping to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where they can learn and grow. My favourite part of working at Little Cubs is watching the children reach important milestones, whether that’s taking their first steps, learning a new skill, or growing in confidence. I love being part of the children’s journey and celebrating these moments with them and their families.
