Congratulations to our Higher Education Student of the Year, Lucas Pilling! 🏆

From youth football to a thriving career in engineering, Lucas' journey is a fantastic example of where hard work, determination and the right training can take you.

Over the past five years, Lucas has progressed from a Level 2 engineering student to Technical Manager at Plastic Processing Ltd, becoming the first SWDT student to achieve a Grade 4 in his End Point Assessment (EPA) and earning membership of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

We're incredibly proud of everything Lucas has accomplished and are delighted to celebrate his well-deserved recognition at the Bishop Auckland College Group Student Awards.
