THIRD YEAR OF INCLUSION QUALITY MARK FLAGSHIP!!!
I am delighted and proud, to be able to share with you our Flagship report, for the Inclusion Quality Mark for the third year running.
At St Mary's, we appreciate and enjoy celebrating each year our successes, hard work and our school's commitment, to providing a range of opportunities to our children.
As an Inclusion Quality Mark Flagship school, we promote equal opportunities for ALL pupils, whatever their age, gender, ethnicity, attainment and background.
The Inclusion Quality Mark pays particular attention to the provision made for, and the achievement of, different groups of pupils within a setting.
Our assessor had a great day celebrating our fabulous school and our amazing pupils, staff and school which sits at the heart of the local community.
Please see below some great quotes from our report.
"The inclusive culture remains at the core of the schoolโs work and the children are kind and respectful of one another. Children can talk about their similarities, which they told me, are more important than their differences."
"Behaviour and attitude towards school life and learning is positive. The language that is used in school isnโt personalised and children are not labelled. There is a lot of compassion for children with needs"
"The discussion with leaders around supporting vulnerable learners evidence that the children are known very well, and the school was making every effort to ensure children with needs thrive in all aspects of life and learning"
"The school are keen to support children to become the best they can be, they are very clear that their faith is real and lived in the way in which they communicate and welcome those families new to the school and with the offer of the wider curriculum."
Well done St Mary's staff and children for another year of fabulous memories and achievements. Here is to our next chapter to continue to strive, to provide the best possible inclusive learning journey.
