"I feel like I've woken up again."

This week Gary hosted our masterclass: Self-awareness for everyday leadership.

Joined by a passionate community, we explored emotional self-awareness, expression and its influence on how we show up for others.

As the session wrapped up, we received the comment, "I feel like I've woken up again." Coming from a person who knows her way around emotional intelligence - being certified in the EQ-i 2.0 since 2015 - this feedback affirms why we share what we do and will continue to do so.

Yesterday marked the day a little more freedom is granted across the UK, one of those freedoms being the ability to hug those close to us. There's nothing like a good hug, emotionally and physiologically - the feel-good oxytocin that floods the system, destressing and bringing us closer. We're definitely owed a debt of oxytocin!

Now we can finally embrace physically, we're thinking about how can we embrace those around us emotionally, be it our colleagues, the wider team or our community. In the masterclass we hosted this month, we looked into health and wellbeing through the lens of resilience and emotional intelligence.
