It is with great sadness that I need to inform you that our much loved and admired examiner and local teacher / festival organiser and adjudicator Karen Collings passed away on Tuesday after a short illness.
I felt it appropriate to let you all know as I am aware most of you all knew her.

I am hoping to hear further news of a potential way in which we may be able to pass on our respects from the ISTD shortly and will let you all know if I hear anything.

Today the ISTD regional reps got together for our annual meeting all be it on zoom this year.

The big stand out discussion was on just how hugely successful the Virtual Chichester event was.

There was an overwhelming response that people wanted more online CPD courses in the future.

Of course there are pros and cons to virtual training.

What are your thoughts ladies?
Would you prefer:
No more face to face courses?
No more online courses (you would prefer real courses)
An opportunity to attend in person OR via zoom?
Happy to hear other suggestions too.

I just wanted to check that you are all receiving the ISTD emails that go out every Friday? They have decided to continue with some online courses so if you didn't get onto the new modern amalgamations courses in the summer then you have another chance.

Also some absolutely great free tap classes to take a look at. Exciting.
