Our school operates on Decoy Lake, which is situated just outside Newton Abbot a couple of minutes from the end of the A380 dual carriageway. We have large modern centrally heated changing facilities and showers. We believe that there is no better centre in the South West in which to learn the basics of both windsurfing and canoeing. The Centre is owned and run by Simon Discombe who has been heavi

ly involved in water sports for many years and is the former British and World Surf Kayak Champion. The Devon Windsurf & Canoe Centre is approved by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority and is a RYA Windsurfing Recognised Centre.

Junior club is on this afternoon 4.30-6.30pm. Come and join in the fun before the summer ends.

We will be open everyday from Saturday 25th July until Sunday 31st August. 7 days a week from 10.30am until 4pm ( last session out on the water at 3pm). No need to book for general hire just turn up on the day. Boats for all the family. Can’t wait to see you all. Happy summer holidays.

Looking for something fun, active and outdoors this summer?

Our Kids Club (ages 7–11) is a full day of adventure at Decoy Lake 🌊

🛶 Sit on top kayaking & canoeing
🏄 Paddleboarding
🐸 Pond dipping/dam building
🌿 Wildlife spotting welly walk
🎨 Clay collecting & sculpture making

A proper outdoor day.. building confidence, making friends and having fun in nature.

📅 Dates: 11th August 2026 we will open up bookings for 18th August once 11th August is full.
⏰ Time: 10am – 2pm
💷 £29 per child

All equipment, instruction and guidance provided.
Just bring a packed lunch,swimmers and change of clothes 👍
