This is an amazing achievement. We would like to say a huge thank you to our PTFA Chudleigh Knighton for organising this event. You all worked tremendously hard, the school really appreciates your continued support. I would also like to say a huge thank you to Luke at The ClayCutters Arms for running this years BBQ. This was so successful and we look forward to bringing back that community feel to the village. Many thanks

Join us for our PTFA Chudleigh Knighton Summer Fair. After school on Friday 12th July. An evening of excitement and fun. We have crafts, games, cakes, stalls, ice lollies, face painting, music, raffles, Claycutters Pub BBQ and much much more!!

SOUTH DEVON SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP - Dartmoor 3-Ball Final

Both our Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 teams successfully qualified for the Dartmoor 3- Ball Partnership finals. These took place against other qualifying teams across the whole of South Devon. It was an extremely hot day but both teams did Chudleigh Knighton proud, playing brilliantly well and returning with medals. Well done to the Year 5/6 team for finishing in 2nd place and to our Year 3/4 team for finishing 3rd. A brilliant achievement!

Congratulations to our Years 5 and 6 pupils who attended the recent Dartmoor 3 Ball competition. Both teams competed with a great team spirit and determination. One of the teams has now qualified for the area finals joining our year 3/4 pupils who will also compete in their own respective area finals. This a great continuation of the sporting success that has been seen across the school this year.

Well done to our Year 6 pupils, who recently returned from their Residential at Barton Hall in Torbay. This was a great reward for the children who have worked so hard throughout the year. They had a fantastic time embarking upon high and low rope adventures, climbing, archery as well as many other outdoor pursuits. Once again children joined fellow Year 6 children from both Lady Seawards and Rockbeare Primary Schools.

Congratulations to our Year 6 pupils,
who completed all of their end of Key
Stage Two assessments before half term.
The tests were an opportunity to
demonstrate their Reading,
Grammar and mathematical skills
and knowledge they have developed
during their time at the school. As
relayed to them all year, the whole school are very proud of them and how they
gave their very best, showing great perseverance throughout SAT's week. They celebrated with a rewarding tea party.

First Federation Times Tables Rockstars Competition

Chudleigh Knighton participated in the First Federation Times Tables Rockstars Competition recently, dubbed, ‘The Battle of the Bands.’This has been taking place over the course of the last week with all pupils contributing to our overall score as well as taking part in individual competitions. The school finished in 2nd place out of over 20 schools belonging to the Fist Federation Trust, a truly staggering achievement for a small village school.
In the individual competitions, a huge congratulations to Jesse, Mila, Daisy, Oscar and Tilly who were awarded medals for being to the top 5 pupils within the school. Jesse achieved a staggering 13th place out of over 1000 pupils taking part in this competition.

Children in Year 6 are given the opportunity to become Play Leaders. This role is supported by one of our TA's and they assist the Meal Time Assistant's in getting equipment out at lunchtimes, supervising games and activities and helping the younger pupils to improve their skills. Some of our Play Leaders attended the Conference at Stover School. They were all very enthusiastic to learn about new games and activities that they brought back to school and introduced to the rest of the children.
