🎨✨ Sharing Our Artwork! ✨🎨

Last week, Year 1 enjoyed some special visits from Year 3 and Year 6 to help evaluate their artwork. 🖌️

It was wonderful for the children to share their hard work, receive lots of positive feedback, and even take on some constructive criticism when needed. The experience helped build confidence and encouraged thoughtful reflection on their creations.

Well done, Year 1 – we are so proud of your creativity and willingness to learn and improve! 👏🌟

🧪🫀 **A Hands\-On Science Adventure\!** 🫀🧪

This week, our Year 3 and Year 4 children came together for a fascinating \(and wonderfully messy\!\) lesson all about the digestive system\. 🤩

The children explored the incredible journey that food takes through our bodies, getting an up\-close and personal look at how our digestive system works\. Although it was a little bit gross at times, everyone embraced the challenge, got stuck in \(quite literally\! 🤭\), and had an absolute blast\!

It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm, curiosity and teamwork throughout the session\. Well done, Year 3 and Year 4 – what brilliant young scientists you are\! 👏🔬✨

🏛️ Passmore Class have been stepping back in time! 🇬🇷

This half term, Passmore Class have been learning all about Ancient Greek architecture. The children explored the different types of Greek columns, investigated which shapes are the strongest and then put their knowledge into practice by designing and building their very own Greek temples.

The creativity, teamwork and effort that went into every model has been fantastic, and we are so proud of what the children have achieved. Their finished temples all look absolutely amazing! 🌟

Well done, Passmore Class what fantastic architects you have all become! 👏💙

Bell & Bradley Class travelled back in time last week to the Victorian era and found their classroom (& teachers) transformed! They had such a fun day pretending to be Victorian school children and have loved finding out what our school would have been like in Victorian times during their History lessons this term.

The children brought in a penny to pay for their education which mainly consisted of reading, writing & arithmetic. At playtimes they had great fun playing hoops, hopscotch & skipping. Year 2 also learnt the song ‘oranges & lemons’. Some children really got into the spirit & even brought in a typical Victorian lunch or snack to eat. The boys got to make a flag while the girls used scraps of material to make peg dolls.

They all looked absolutely fantastic in their costumes! Huge thanks to all of our parents for the effort you made.

Everyone was SO quiet & well behaved…in fact Mrs Back & Mrs Bickerton are thinking of having Victorian days more often! 😉

✨ What a show! ✨

A huge well done to our incredible Year 6 children for their fantastic performances of Aladdin Trouble today! 🌟

You all performed with such confidence, enthusiasm and energy, making us incredibly proud. It was wonderful to see all of your hard work and dedication come together in such an entertaining production.

A special thank you also goes to Mrs Hunt and Mrs Lovick, whose hard work, commitment and creativity made it all possible. To pull together such a brilliant production in just a matter of weeks is an amazing achievement!

Congratulations to everyone involved – you were all absolutely brilliant! 🎭👏⭐

🌊🛶 What a fantastic end-of-year treat for Templer Class! 🛶🌊

Our Year 6 children had an amazing afternoon celebrating the end of their primary school journey.

First stop was Decoy Country Park, where everyone took to the water for a canoeing session. Every single child gave it a go and showed fantastic teamwork, rowing skills and confidence. Of course, there was plenty of fun too, with lots of splashing… and even Mrs Hunt ended up taking an unexpected swim! 😂💦

After all that excitement, we headed back to school to enjoy a well-earned fish and chip supper before finishing the evening with a brilliant game of ultimate hide and seek around the school.

A perfect way to make some wonderful final memories together. ❤️✨
