The best morning with this wonderful bunch! 💕

We had such a fantastic morning with the wonderful residents of Seafort House in Warrenpoint. Our outstanding Soprano Fiona Flynn Flynn Performing Arts delivered a brilliant workshop focusing on breathing, pitch, warm ups and how to project the voice. It was such fun and we had much singing, dancing and laughter. Fiona is delivering three workshops at Seafort over the coming weeks in preparation for the residents joining us for a concert on 4th September.
Enormous thanks to the Arts Council of Northern Ireland for funding this project through the Rural Engagement Arts Programme. It is hugely important and rewarding work and we at NCM count ourselves lucky to meet, work with and bring our music to so many lovely people in our local area.

Well done to Patrick McAllister (S4) on providing such fitting organ music at Sunday Eucharist which was broadcast live from Holy Cross Benedictine Abbey, Rostrevor as BBC Radio Ulster’s Morning Service on August 16. Patrick is photographed with his parents & Abbot Mark-Ephrem Nolan, celebrant & preacher.

Parents and organ students, past & present continue to be grateful to Abbot Mark-Ephrem, the community & indeed the congregation for this formative opportunity to participate at Holy Cross Abbey.

A Newry actor has said featuring alongside stars such as Peter Andre and Sam Bailey at London’s O2 arena has been “an amazing experience.” James McLoughlin has landed a job as part of the cast in Mamma Mia: The Party, a theatrical dining experience created by Abba’s Björn Ulvaeus.
