Meet Tanya O'Prey, a Hair and Beauty Management Level 5 Extended Diploma graduate! ✨

With 29 years of experience in the hair and barbering industry and sole trader of her barbershop, Tanya decided to share her skills and expertise as the barbering industry began to grow. She started as a part-time lecturer and quickly discovered her passion for teaching, and wanted to pursue it full-time.

Completing the Level 5 diploma was Tanya's next step in pursuing full-time teaching. This challenged her and equipped her with knowledge in areas like holistic approaches and lifestyle advice for clients, which she now applies in her teaching roles at Belfast Metropolitan College, where she teaches about dermatitis as well as barbering.

Tanya now plans to pursue a PGCE in the next step of continuing her vocation of being a teacher.❤️
