As another wonderful school year comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to say a very heartfelt thank you to all of our parents and families for your incredible kindness, generosity and support throughout the year.
Over the past few weeks, many members of staff have received thoughtful end-of-year gifts from families. While these gifts are never expected or necessary, please know that they are received with genuine gratitude and mean so much to each and every member of our team. Your thoughtfulness is a lovely reminder of the strong relationships and sense of community that make Jonesborough Primary School such a special place.
Some families have very kindly given individual gifts to staff, while others have generously treated us to coffees, buns, traybakes, sandwiches and other delicious treats. These thoughtful gestures gave staff the opportunity to enjoy some well-earned time together during breaks and staff training days, complementing our planned staff lunches and helping us celebrate the end of another successful year as one team. It was wonderful to see colleagues sharing a coffee, enjoying a chat and taking a moment to reflect on all that has been achieved together.
On a personal note, I would also like to express my sincere thanks to those parents who so thoughtfully gave gifts to me. I have been genuinely overwhelmed by your generosity. Although your gifts were absolutely not expected, they were received with immense gratitude and appreciation. Your kindness has touched me deeply, and I will treasure both your generosity and the sentiment behind every gift.
It is a privilege to serve as Principal of such a caring and supportive school community. The partnership we share with our families is something I value enormously, and together we continue to create the very best experiences for our children.
Thank you once again for everything you do to support our school.
I wish every one of our pupils and their families a happy, healthy, safe and restful summer. I hope you enjoy making wonderful memories together, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back in the autumn as we begin another exciting school year together.
