I originally quoted this as a quick respray because it looked like nothing more than a small scratch, I was way wrong on this one. Looking back, there were clear signs I should have picked up on that it was a failed previous repair. The amount of respray suggested a very small patch job. Overspray on the white that hadn’t been taped or cleaned back properly.
And a finish that hadn’t been fully polished. Small things, but together they tell a bigger story. You do anything like you do everything. You can tell a lot about a repair from the final finish.
