BIG WEEKEND FOR OUR LEAD SURF INSTRUCTORS 💥🏄‍♂️🏆

This weekend Warren Lewellyn and ALAN STOKES competed in the Saltrock Vintage Surf Classic. The event took place down at Great Western Beach as part of the UK Surf Skate Expo taking place in Newquay. The competitors competed on retro surfboards from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s 🏄‍♂️

Massive congratulations to Warren for snagging the win in the Expression Session, and to Alan for taking home the overall title! 🥇🏆

Fun times down at Great Western Beach with the awesome pupils from Newquay Junior Academy over the last few weeks! 🙌💯☀️

For over 5 years, we’ve proudly delivered activities for Year 3 and Year 5 students. This time, they hit the beach to tackle our Super SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding) and Surfing lessons! 🏄‍♀️🛶

It’s fantastic to see so many young people feeling confident in the ocean—and even better to watch them encourage classmates who are still finding their sea legs. 🌊💙

Developing water confidence early on is so important. We are incredibly proud to have such strong connections with schools nationwide to deliver these confidence-building activities. 🤝

The UK Surf & Skate Expo is back and taking over Newquay this weekend (July 24th - 26th)! 🏄
We are incredibly stoked to see the community come together to celebrate all things surf, skate, and the great outdoors right here on our home turf. Newquay is throwing a warm welcome to the board sports community and industry!

Newquay Activity Centre is officially in the running for Surf School of the Year for the second year in a row at this year’s Wavelength UK Surfer Awards! 🏆 A huge thank you to our amazing team of instructors and to all of you who have shared the waves with us and to those who voted for us.
Daughter of our Director and NAC team rider, Mila Barber is also nominated for Under 18 Women's Surfer of the Year! 🌊 Wish us all luck tonight! Watch our feed for updates 🙏

Huge shoutout to the 6 amazing Work Experience students from Treviglas who joined us last week! 🙌

They got a real taste of what it takes to run an activity centre during peak season. From getting stuck into every task we threw at them, to getting out on the water for our daily activities, they absolutely smashed it. Their teamwork, work ethic, and constant laughs made them a joy to have around! 😃🌊

In fact, they impressed us so much that we’ve invited several of them back for paid work this season as part of our Grom Team. 🤙
