Today in English, Year 1 have been enjoying Busy Learning activities linked to ‘What’s in the Witch’s Kitchen?’ 🧙‍♀️

The children have been developing their vocabulary, speaking and listening, mark-making and writing skills through lots of creative activities. They made the witch’s house using a range of materials in our outdoor area, created large chalk drawings of the house, labelled their own pictures of the witch and built imaginative witch’s houses using Lego.

We have loved seeing all their creative ideas come to life!

Our new Beacons class have settled in really well, and have enjoyed exploring their new environments and making some new friends. We have already got stuck in with a PE lesson, a trip to the wild woods and discovering both our indoor and outdoor provision 💜
