Big F-T's Shack Rockpool Adventures

Good afternoon all 🦀🌊

Right then, tomorrow’s Rockpool Adventure is lining up to be an absolute beauty.

The tide is dropping right down on a big spring tide, which means Mother Nature is basically opening up extra rooms in the seaside mansion for us to explore. 🔍🌊

That means more rock pools, more hidden corners, more creatures and far more opportunities for me to get ridiculously excited about something with too many legs. 🦀😆

So far on recent adventures we’ve found:

⭐ Starfish
🦀 Shore crabs
🦐 Shrimps
🐚 Limpets
🐌 Whelks
🌿 Seaweeds of all shapes and sizes
🐟 Blennies hiding in tiny underwater caves

And tomorrow… who knows?

Could be a sea hare.
Could be a giant edible crab.
Could be something that sends me into full David Attenborough mode and makes the children wonder if I actually live in a rock pool. 🤣
