Following our group's desire for a fire. We decided to indulge ourselves by melting some chocolate for dipping our apples. 🍏

Exploring the emergency services!
In line with this theme, we chose to create some flames using warm paint colours, which we can then extinguish with water from a hose, just like firefighters do! 🔥🚒

Revisiting the fascinating topic of caterpillars and butterflies, inspired by the baby caterpillars we have been observing in the Nature Steps cabin as they transform into chrysalises. We then embarked on a caterpillar hunt in the woods, diligently searching through leaves and plants. The children performed wonderfully, and we can certainly see future lepidopterists among them. Well done, everyone! 🐛
