🌟 Another fantastic week at Team Trenance! 🌟

Yesterday, our Year 2 children enjoyed their much-anticipated Beach Day, spending a fantastic day at the beach with their friends and class teams as their final days at Trenance draw closer. As part of the day, every child had the opportunity to take part in a sea swim under the expert guidance of Emerald Class Teacher, Miss Mann, who is also a GB Life Saving Manager and qualified Lifeguard. What an amazing experience for our children, and how fortunate we are to have such expertise within our team!

Today, it was the turn of our Foundation children, who enjoyed their end of term treat with an action-packed morning of water fun! From exciting water sponge challenges to the much-loved return of the Trenance Slip 'N' Slide, the playground was filled with laughter, smiles and plenty of splashes.

These special moments are what makes life at Trenance so memorable and we're incredibly proud of the experiences we provide alongside our learning every day.

Thank you to our amazing staff for making these events so special and to our families for their continued support.

It's been another incredible week at Team Trenance and we can't wait to make the most of our final three days together next week before the summer holidays!

🌟 Welcome to Team Trenance 🌟

Over the past few weeks, we have loved getting to know the newest members of Team Trenance as they begin their journey with us.

It has been wonderful welcoming our new Foundation children and their families into our school community and seeing their excitement grow as they prepare to start school in September!

Their Trenance journey is just beginning and we cannot wait to see the friendships they make, the confidence they build and the many adventures they will experience during their time with us.

✨What a fantastic week it’s been at Team Trenance!✨
We are incredibly proud of all of our children for the bravery, confidence and enthusiasm they have shown this week, especially as they stepped onto the stage to perform for families and friends.

Our Foundation children wowed audiences with their wonderful Magic Train Ride dance, which they have been learning with Katie Bell throughout this term. It was fantastic to see them perform with such confidence. Year 1 performed their sea shanty songs brilliantly and Year 2 have been working hard rehearsing for their end-of-year show. It has been fantastic to see our children showcase their learning and celebrate just how far they have come this year.

Year 1 also enjoyed their special treat day, “Year 1 TrenanceFest!” It was a fantastic celebration filled with music, creativity and fun. The children enjoyed a range of festival-inspired activities, including making friendship bracelets, designing colourful festival crowns and wands and finishing the day by singing, dancing and celebrating together in the woodlands with their friends.

Well done to every single one of our children for another amazing week. We are so proud of you all for being brave, giving your best and performing so brilliantly.🌟

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome the wonderful team from Newquay Library & Visitor Information Service to Trenance.

During a whole-school assembly, Kathy introduced our children to the Summer Reading Challenge, which launches this Saturday at Newquay Library. The challenge is free to join for children aged 4–11 and offers some fantastic rewards for those who take part.

Not only did Kathy get everyone excited about reading, but the children also enjoyed taking part in a treasure hunt! Mrs Flynn and Mrs Anderson went head-to-head in the search for the hidden treasure, with Mrs Flynn eventually discovering the treasure chest – much to the delight of the children in Crimson Class!

In the afternoon, our four Foundation classes were lucky enough to visit the library, where they met the fantastic library team. The children learned how the library works, explored books from a variety of genres and, of course, enjoyed listening to lots of wonderful stories.

We are so lucky to have such a wonderful library right on our doorstep and are incredibly grateful for the opportunities it provides for our children. A huge thank you to everyone who joined Team Trenance at this year’s Newquay Carnival.

It was wonderful to celebrate alongside the wider Newquay community and see our children representing Trenance with such pride and enthusiasm.

🎉 Congratulations to this week’s Citizens and TLA Ticket winners! 🎉

We are very proud of all our Trenance adventurers this week! A special well done to our Year 2 children, who amazed Team Trenance during their camping adventure at Tomperrow. Our corridors have been filled with exciting stories and happy memories from the trip and we couldn't be prouder of the resilience, enthusiasm and teamwork they showed as they embraced every challenge. ✨

We’re also celebrating our Key Stage 1 children, who began their swimming lessons this week.
We're delighted to welcome ELITE Swimming UK - Pools To Schools back to Trenance, who have installed a temporary swimming pool on our playground. This fantastic opportunity means every Trenance child can develop their water confidence and swimming skills with qualified swimming instructors, right here at school!

What an amazing week of learning, adventure and achievement! 🌟 Well done to you all

The magic continues for ourYear 2 camping adventure! ✨
From climbing trees to river raft races and every little adventure in between, our children have had an incredible day full of laughter, teamwork and exploring! 🏕️ And the fun isn't over yet! Tonight they'll be singing songs around the campfire, toasting marshmallows and setting off on their special "midnight" torch walk! ✨

It’s one of our favourite days of the year… Year 2 Camp is here! 🏕️

All four Year 2 classes have headed off together for their camp adventure and are ready for an action-packed day filled with tree climbing, team games, raft building and so much more!

We can’t wait to see all the amazing memories they make today! ✨
