🌞 Thank You for a Fantastic Summer Fair! 🌞

A huge thank you to all our parents, families and members of the community who supported our Summer Fair on Friday. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

A special thank you goes to our amazing PTFA, whose hard work, dedication and enthusiasm made the event such a success. We are delighted to share that they raised over £1,700 for our lovely school! 🎉

From everyone who helped organise, volunteer, donate, run stalls and attend, thank you for your incredible support. The wonderful community spirit on display made it a truly memorable afternoon for all.

💙 We are so grateful to be part of such a supportive school community. Thank you for helping make a difference for our children! 💙

🌟 What a wonderful Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly! 🌟
A huge thank you to the Owls Class for opening the assembly with their beautiful singing and giving such a special farewell to their buddies. 💛
We would also like to thank Mr Simmons for his hard work, dedication and support throughout the year.

Last week, children from our Rocksteady bands had their performance to other children within the school and their parents. The children have worked really hard in their weekly sessions this term and the performances showcased the effort and talent that goes into creating a band and the musical skills they have developed over the term. The children in the audience thoroughly enjoyed cheering along their friends, and the parents who watched said that they were impressed with the performances they saw 🎸 🥁 🎶 🎤

A huge congratulations to our amazing Year 6 pupils on their fantastic SATs results! 🌟 Your determination and resilience paid off and these results are a testament to the hard work of the pupils, staff and families in our school community. Oliver with a Twist - what an incredible run of performances from these amazing pupils! They gave up their own time after school and worked tirelessly under the direction of the wonderfully talented and hardworking Mrs Manley to put this show together. What a fantastic day Owls Class had on our trip to Newquay Aquarium yesterday!Our visit began with a wonderful marine handling session, where the children had the opportunity to carefully hold and learn about crabs and starfish.

We then enjoyed exploring the aquarium together. There was so much to see, but some of the children's favourite moments were watching the sharks glide overhead and seeing the magnificent loggerhead turtle.

After our aquarium visit, we made the most of the beautiful weather with some time on the beach. The children had great fun playing on the sand and enjoyed a paddle in a nearby rockpool.

Thank you to all our parent helpers for supporting the trip and helping to make it such a memorable experience.

A few weeks ago some Year 5 pupils were supported by the whole of Year 4 in performing on stage at the Hall for Cornwall. We took part in the RSC Shakespeare Playmaking Festival. Our pupils performed alongside pupils from other schools across Cornwall and they brought the house down! Sorry for the late post but we were waiting on these incredible professional shots!

🏄‍♂️🌊 Yesterday, some of our Year 5 and Year 6 students took part in the Treviglas Annual Surf Competition at Great Western Beach.

All of the children represented our school brilliantly, showing fantastic enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the day. They had an amazing time and should all be incredibly proud of their efforts.

A special congratulations goes to our Year 6 team, who stole the show by winning gold medals in their age group! 🥇🎉

Well done, Team Cubert – we are so proud of you all! 💙
