A Day of Learning, Growth & Exam Excellence!
Today has been a fantastic example of our whole Year 11 community coming together with one shared goal — success for all.

Students took part in Made rapid revision workshops, building effective revision strategies, positive learning habits and the GCSE Mindset needed to succeed.

Staff continued their professional learning through CPD, strengthening our shared approach to developing successful learning habits.

Families joined us for our Year 11 information session and supporting students through revision sessions at home and in school.

Every revision session, every new strategy and every decision to keep going is another step towards achieving the grades our students need to open doors to their future.

We are building the habits of success — together.

The session will focus on exam stress support, offering useful advice and guidance on how we can support young people as they prepare for their Year 11 exams. It’s also a great opportunity to meet the team, ask questions and have a chat over a cuppa. ☕🍰

📍 Treviglas Academy – Main Hall

The session will also be supported by Mrs Chaplin, Treviglas Academy Autism Champion, and Mr Wilson, SENDCo.

The Exam Excellence 100 Club is already proving popular, with students keen to be part of the challenge and build the habits that will help them succeed. Every session attended is another hour invested in their future.

Each day, a growing number of students are also making use of the Year 11 Study Room during EB1, focusing on homework, revision and getting themselves organised.

On Friday, our tutors will focus on ‘Effort as a Habit’. Students will begin to explore how small, consistent actions — including planning their Missions with Medals — can quickly develop positive habits and routines.

These habits matter. They will help students build the ambition, excellence, resilience and responsibility needed to achieve their GCSE goals and successfully progress to their next steps post-16.

We are also looking forward to welcoming our Year 11 families tomorrow evening for our Year 11 Revision Workshop, starting at 5pm in the Main Hall. We look forward to working together to support students with effective revision strategies and help them make the most of the year ahead.

Success for all. Ambition without limits. Resilience without excuses. Excellence as standard.

Year 11 – Small Steps, Big Success!

A huge well done to our Year 11 students who attended our first Session 6 this evening! 👏

By attending, students have already achieved their first 1 hour towards the Exam Excellence 100 Club

What is the Exam Excellence 100 Club?

The challenge is simple: attend at least 100 hours of additional learning and revision across Year 11 through our Session 6 programme and other supported study opportunities.

Every hour counts. Every session attended builds knowledge, confidence and resilience – and brings students one step closer to achieving the results they need for their next step.

We also want to recognise the students who attended the Year 11 Study Room during EB1 today, using the time to focus on homework and revision. These may seem like small decisions, but they are exactly the habits that will make a difference over the course of the year.

Success doesn't happen all at once. It is built through small, consistent steps.

One session. One hour. One step closer to success.

A fantastic start, Year 11 – keep going!

Success for all. Ambition without limits. Resilience without excuses. Excellence as standard.

A fantastic start for Year 11!

It has been fantastic to welcome our Year 11 students back this morning, with a clear focus on success and achieving their ambitions this year.

During tutor time, students have been reflecting on their motivations, goals and next steps, considering what they need to do now to achieve the results that will unlock their future pathways.

To support students further, every Year 11 student will take part in a Rapid Revision Techniques session delivered by Made on Thursday, giving them practical strategies to make their revision more effective.

Parents & carers – we would love to see you too!

Join us on Thursday from 5:00pm–6:15pm for our Year 11 information evening.

The session will cover:
🔹 Expectations for Year 11
🔹 How we will support students throughout the year
🔹 Practical advice to help your young person succeed
🔹 A session delivered by Made on how parents and carers can support effective revision at home

Together, we can help our young people develop the ambition, resilience and commitment they need to make this a successful Year 11.

Success for all. Ambition without limits. Resilience without excuses. Excellence as standard.
