Nurture Nursery & Pre School are looking for the right person to join our team in our Mount Hawke setting.
We require someone who is dynamic, has the ability to work as part of a team, be able to use your initiative and time manage your day effectively to ensure the smooth running of our pre school.

We require someone who is experienced and focused on delivering excellent standards of care with a natural ability to work as part of a team and always be willing to go above and beyond.
We are also looking for someone who....
* Has a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special.
* Doesn't have to have the ability to be able to sing in tune, but must have the confidence to sing out of tune in front of a crowd.
* Must be able to distribute warm hugs, as and when required.
* Must possess the skills required to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people.
* Must be comfortable entering public places on the way home from work, with unknown substances on their clothing.
* Must have the ability to pretend to eat play dough creations realistically. This is an essential requirement along with drinking numerous cups of pretend tea.
* Must have the ability to read a ten page story, upside down, with at least 4 interruptions per page.
* Must be prepared to have lots of fun in the workplace. Laughter is something you can expect to engage in for a large part of your working day.
* Loves being outside come rain or shine. We love the great outdoors.
* Finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many young children and their families.

No qualification required, full training and qualifications can be provided, but you must be competent on taking instructions from tiny people.

Our Jubilee garden party 👑

We hope all our children that attend term time only have a fab may half term and just a quick reminder to those attending next week we are closed on Thursday and Friday for the jubilee bank holidays 👑

This last month in blueberry room we have been looking after some special critters! 🐛🦋
We’ve watched the caterpillars turn into chrysalis then into beautiful butterflies! We released them out in the garden this morning!! 🍃🦋

Over the next few weeks all children will receive an assessment (unless your child has had one already this year), for those that have recently started with us this is a baseline assessment where we put your child into different ranges and will repeat this in September to see your child’s progression.

For children that have been with us longer than a term this is a summative assessment where we just check your child’s development is progressing. Please remember that every child is unique and develops in their own time when looking at the different ranges.

This week was all about bugs! We counted, hunted, drew, read and even had our own Hungry Caterpillar picnic! The children have loved it🐛

This week toddlers had great fun exploring their topic box and learning all about animals that live under the sea🐠🐬💙
