Blue and Recharge Coffee hosted our joint end of summer party at H A L W Y N driving range last night ⛳.

Many balls were unceremoniously whacked 💥

Many more balls were ungracefully missed 💨

There was a tonne of laughter 🤣 (apologies to anyone there last night trying to take their session seriously with us hollering in the background)

And it was a reminder that the people we have around us at Blue are the most wholesome bunch (and talented golfers) in the surf world 🌍🌊

We're beyond sad that not everyone could be there yesterday, and even sadder to have said goodbye to some of these fabulous people until April next year 👋🥺🗓️

MEET FRANKIE aka Big Ginge 👋🏼🌊

Frankie is another Blue Surf OG and best friends with Harry. He’s one of those instructors who seems to make everything look very easy…apparently he’s also a pretty decent cameraman and jellyfish catcher 😂🪼

We could sit here and tell you all the great things about Frankie... but we’d rather you read what people on his lessons think of him 😏:

Meet Rayma - one of the coolest grandmas we know 🧑🏻‍🦳✌️ (part 1).

Rayma and her partner Trevor, now based in Oxford, have a long history when it comes to Newquay. They even owned a surf shop together on East Street in town 🏘️!

Like thousands of other grandparents around the country, they’ve been battling with an age old question 🤔...

HOW ON EARTH 🌍 do you keep your grandkids interested in going away with you on holiday once they start to become teenagers 😣?!?

Summer in Cornwall ☀️.

It's been hot 🥵. It's been dry 😮‍💨. It's been BUSY 🚀. Sadly, it has also come to its natural end 😭.

If you came for a surf lesson in Newquay with Blue this summer, you'll also no doubt have experienced that summer isn't always the best time if you're on the hunt for quality waves.

Thank god then for autumn 🍂 😍 which delivers...

If you’ve visited Blue, it’s more than likely you’ve met Adam. If not, you’ve no doubt received an email, WhatsApp or had a longer than expected phone conversation. (You can’t forget him because no doubt, he’s made a risky joke of some kind!) He loves a chat, is SUPER hardworking, and today it’s his birthday!

He also loves plants, a flat white, a good dance, and his wife 😆 But more than anything, he puts absolutely EVERYTHING into all things Blue Surf, to make it the best it can be!
