What an amazing start to the new academic year! An inset day focused on building truly inclusive schools- and why 'stretching beyond' is something we do together, for every child- and having lots of fun too! A huge thank you to Gary Aubin, Susie Weaver & Emily Miles for their expert input during the day.

Today, partners from the Cornwall Local Area SEND Partnership met to move further forward in an exciting phase, ensuring inclusion, wellbeing and high expectations are a consistent reality for all.

At the heart of this is Ordinarily Available Provision (OAP) - the high-quality, inclusive support every child should receive in every Cornwall school, no matter their needs or where they live.

OAP is the foundation of inclusive education. It ensures consistency, fairness, and a real sense of belonging for all children- before any additional or specialist support is needed.

More to come as this important work develops!
