Taking time to recognise achievements and thank one another is such an important part of our nursery community. 🌟

Yesterday we enjoyed another of our community walks up to Beacon VetCare! 🐾

The children love visiting the vets, watching the pets coming and going, spotting dogs being weighed on the big scales, and asking lots of curious questions. This time was extra special as we got to meet Bruno the Labrador 🐶. Bruno is staying at the vets while he recovers from an operation on his leg (you might spot his bandage in the photos!) and he even showed us his toy caterpillar. He was so calm and gentle with the children.

These visits are a wonderful way to connect with our community while supporting our ambitious curriculum Where Children Shine 🌟. They inspire curiosity, communication, and a growing understanding of the world around us.

A big thank you to Colin and the team at Beacon Vetcare for always making us feel so welcome.

Water Babies are joining us this Saturday at Summercourt! 🌊

We’re thrilled to welcome Water Babies, the UK’s leading baby and toddler swim school, to our Happy Days Fest this weekend!

Their expert team will be on hand to:
👶 Share how babies and toddlers can build water confidence from birth
💬 Answer all your questions about swimming & water safety
🛁 Give tips on encouraging safe water play at home – even during bath time!

Explorers Room:
• Make junk model musical shakers
• Craft crowns and colourful headbands

Adventurers 1:
• Create fruity kebabs at our snack station
• Make friendship bracelets to share
• Boogie Mites fun with DIY drums
• Parachute games with ribbons and scarves

Adventurers 2:
• Vibrant tie-dye spray art
• Messy powder paint creations
• Colourful mocktail mixing
• Extra sparkle at the face painting stations

Di and the team at Happy Days Summercourt were thrilled to welcome local Health Visitor Kerry Ducket to the nursery this week!✨✨

Kerry was using the nursery’s meeting room to conduct health check, parental support and connecting parents with local resources. Health visitors play a crucial role in promoting the health and well-being of young children and their families and Kerry you’re welcome back anytime!☺
