๐ธ Isle of Wight Gin Company x Graphic Design Students ๐ธ
Following the success of the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary: Benji and Balu Vodka project, our talented BTEC Level 3 Graphic Design students were set an exciting new challenge by the Isle of Wight Gin Company ๐
Students were tasked with creating 26 full-scale bus advertisements to be showcased across key locations on the Island ๐โจ The campaign highlights the companyโs range of gin and rum products, all expertly blended right here on the Isle of Wight.
Both Year 1 and Year 2 students rose to the brief with professionalism and creativity, producing a wide range of high-quality designs that met real commercial standards. The client was so impressed thatโฆ all 26 designs were selected for use! ๐
You can already spot three of the designs on buses across the Island, with many more set to roll out over the autumn months ๐
This brilliant collaboration not only gives fantastic exposure to the Isle of Wight Gin Company, but also showcases the exceptional talent, creativity, and industry-readiness of our Graphic Design students ๐จ๐ผ

Weโre proud to celebrate our Media student Christopher, who recently attended the 82nd D-Day commemorations in Normandy.
During the visit, Christopher met 100-year-old veteran Ken Hay MBE, who shared a remarkable Isle of Wight connection โ revealing he waited off Ryde Pier for four days before the landings.
The trip was also deeply personal, he reflected on his own familyโs wartime history while documenting the event through photography.
This experience highlights how Isle of Wight College students bring learning to life โ combining creativity, history, and real-world opportunities to tell meaningful stories.
