I FAILED 🙈

So, my daily routine is ...

☀️ Up before the boys.
💻 30 Min daily sales routine done
👩‍🏫 Get the boys ready for school

I failed at step one this morning.

Or should I say they won 🤣

Up at 5.38am for Archie... Followed closely by Wills at 6.10am.

And you know what?

My routine can wait. I'll still do my 30 minutes today once they're off to school.

👉🏻 Pj's still on. Laptop open. Sat at my dressing table attempting to make myself look half decent.

Because THAT'S the whole point.

The routine isn't built around perfect mornings.

It's built around very REAL ones... and this is my reality today and it's cool.

The reason I figured out a routine In the first place was so that I didn't have to panic if things popped up or things changed.

It still works.

That's the beauty of it.

30 minutes. 4 things. Sales every day.

It's been 20 months of 10-30 sales on average
sales Every. Single. Day.

Even on the crazy mornings ones.

Building a business that the only strategy is to "Show up on social media" to sell is not a strategy..

It feels like being trapped.

I hate it.

And it's absolutely not a stable business.

😫 I got REPORTED to the ASA…

Advertising Standards Agency… in case you’re not familiar 🙈🤣

Apparently someone … who must have been really bored … filed a complaint saying I wasn’t telling the truth about my sales figures…

👉 When I started my business coaching in 2021, I used in my marketing that I’d done £10m+ in sales.

At that point, I’d already been in business for 7.5 years.

The funniest bit was…

The real figure is actually a lot higher…
This was just the first two years!

I sent over the official proof and documents and by my 4th email they said - you don’t have to send us anymore 🤣

Complaint resolved.

I found this pic yesterday and remembered how worried and stressed I felt adding it all up!

But I always under egg everything! It’s how I live - under promise and over deliver!!!

I just genuinely have no idea what the exact number is 🙄

And I see people online shouting:

“£15m made”
“£100m in sales”

And I’m sorry if this matters to you but..

I couldn’t tell you my exact number if you paid me🙈

👉 I’m fully aware that’s not the best business practice 😂

But I’m also a busy flipping mum who built businesses from 30 weeks pregnant …

raising kids, dealing with miscarriages, my sisters cancer diagnosis, losing Nic, building teams, navigating real life, grief, Archie’s autism….

And trying not to lose my freaking mind half the time.

And whatever the actual figure is…

Nothing says success to me like

“I’m still freaking going and I still love what I do”

I didn’t sit there obsessively updating a scoreboard - I didn’t have bloody time.

Because revenue might be impressive …
but it’s never actually been my metric.

The success stories….

The messages from people saying:

“I made my first sale Ems… we’re off.”
“I paid my mortgage from my business.”
“I quit the job I hated.”
“I finally believe in myself again.”

THAT has always been the metric for me.

And now..

I’m 13 years into business this year.

👉 Still here.
👉 Still standing.
👉 Still helping people build businesses that genuinely change their lives.

I still get reported for stuff now and again …

I mean, who are you with so much time on your hands 🤣 I want your job or if you’re that bored I have jobs going 🤣

But if there’s one thing I’m proud of after 13 years…

It’s not the millions in sales.

It’s the fact I built this business without pretending to be someone I’m not and I’ve never given up in the hard times.

I’ve pivoted, I’ve changed direction - but I’ve never given up!

Never pretended it was easy.

Always say exactly what it takes and teach the step by steps simply..

Just years of resilience , figuring it out, helping people and building something that I love.

That matters more to me than any sales figures showing £8.9m in sales in 2 years ever will ❤️

On Wednesday I shared properly for the first time in a free class how I totally changed my business 20 months ago!

It was 20 months ago yesterday actually!

I used to run huge launches that yes were highly profitable …

But it were the only strategy I really relied on…

Until I realised…

“Sh*t, what if I’m ill”

“What if Archie or wills need me 100%”

I love launching but it didn’t feel safe to just rely on one thing..

So I figured out how to make sales every single day.

Takes me 30 mins doing the same routine everyday.

And it makes me 10-30 sales on average a day!

For 20 months never had a £0 day!

So I taught it on Wednesday for the first time and people were kinda gob smacked about ONE big thing..

How I don’t rely on social media, followers or having to “show up” to make money….

And I was shocked that 64% of the attendees didn’t have step 1 in place when it’s the easiest way to sell!
