The Young Farmers Club is for people between the age of 12 and 26 who enjoy farming, the countryside and rural life. The aim is to bring young people together through social and educational activities and competitions, locally and nationally. We are supported by The Royal Isle of Wight Agricultural Society, NFU, CLA, IW Grain Storage, IW Farmers Bloodhounds, The Leverets and JR Fencing,

What a weekend for IOW Young Farmers! 💙

It’s always great to see so many of our members involved in different parts of the Royal Isle of Wight County Show.

Our ever-popular rodeo bull was a huge hit once again 🤠🙌 A big thank you to everyone who came and had a go, and to our sponsors, Barfoots and Reynolds & Read, for their support.

A special mention goes to five of our members—Ralph Rickard, Izzy O’Sullivan, Rhys Bradley, Mollie Sheath and Harry Taylor—who were nominated for the RIWAS Isle of Wight Rural Awards - Young Person of the Year. Congratulations to Mollie on taking home the award! 🌟

From livestock showing, tractor parades and horse events, to the Rural Careers Fund Challenge, woodland displays, doing readings at the Sunday church service and manning our stand, our members were involved right across the show.

A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their time over the weekend.

It was a fantastic showcase of what IOW Young Farmers is all about. 💪
