Alfa Staff are currently seeking Warehouse container unloaders to join our client based in Newport Area.

Start time 6am to 3.pm Monday to Friday – 40 Hours for the week.
Start Date 3rd of November to 7th of November

Pay - £12.21

Duties:
Unloading Containers – Physical fitness is required
Stock Rotation
Use of Bailer
General Housekeeping Duties – Sweeping

Personal attributes: -
Knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace (Manual Handling awareness)
Must be physically fit as involves some heavy lifting.
Be able to work in a team environment and can work alone.
Must be motivated and a good timekeeper.

This is a temporary assignment for 1 week only

We are looking for a part time/adhoc Driver CPC Instructor.

This role would suit a retired Transport Manager/Instructor/Operator/HGV Driver.

Previous experience as a training instructor required.

We require the candidates to be available during the week, not just weekends.

It is with a heavy heart that we tell you of the untimely death of our incredible Driver CPC, HGV instructor and life long friend, Richard Draper.

He had a lifetime of transport knowledge which coupled with an unrivalled charisma, made for the perfect instructor.

Richard had the ability to hold the attention of a classroom of Drivers, hoping to teach them something new whilst making them laugh and enjoy a course that lets face it, no driver wants to do.

Personally, he was always the life and soul of any party, he had a back catalogue of hilarious stories, he loved to tell them and we all loved to hear them.

Richard has been a part of the family for over 40 years and we will miss him dearly.

RIP Drapes.

Richard’s funeral will be held on 9th may 2025 at 1.30pm at Langstone Crematorium.
Details of the wake are TBC.

And just like that...We are 10 years old today!!!

It's been a Rollercoaster of a decade.... Crazy busy from day 1, a Brexit, a pandemic, a Driver shortage, countless Prime ministers, the list goes on...

BUT some things remain constant..

We consider ourselves very lucky to have survived a crazy decade in this world but do you know what?
